Corporate Administrators and Secretaries Professional Institute of Nigeria (CASPIN), over the weekend, co-opted 43 new full members and 16 fellows into their fold in the South East geo-political zone.
The membership induction and conferment investiture ceremony that took place at Modotel Hotel, Enugu, was fully attended by dignitaries that include Acting President of the Institute, Prof. Godwin U. Nwanguma; Prof. Ugbam O. C. of University of Nigeria, Dr. Dimpka Christian, Barr Odili Achilike, Director special duties, Dr Adeyemo Tunde M., The Institutes’ Coordinator South East, Mr. Barnabas Iwuoha; and the Northcentral Regional Registrar, Mr. Frederick Sunday amongst others.
Delivering a lecture on the occasion entitled: Bridging Administration Critical gaps in Private and Public Institutions for National Development: Embracing the New Government Reforms., Prof. Nwaguma Stated that the bane of any nation or organization is poor leadership.
He also stated that in the families, where there is no good leadership, a problem ensues in such families.
He traced the various political problems that have ravaged Africa in the past and currently tearing some nations apart in Africa to bad leadership and posited that once an organization or a nation has good leadership, it is bound to do well.
